Why the inbox keeps coming first

The inbox is where work lands. Requests, decisions, updates, follow-ups — it all ends up there eventually. It's high volume, it doesn't slow down, and the cost of missing something is real. People have been managing it manually for years and they're ready for help.

The tools haven't solved it. Filters, tabs, snooze, priority inboxes — useful, but none of them reduce the underlying volume or do anything with what's in the email. That's what people are asking AI to do.
