When we launched Venn in early access, the pitch was simple: your AI should be able to use your apps. Not just answer questions about them, but actually use them. Draft the email. Create the task. Look up the record. Get things done.

Hundreds of you took us up on that. You connected your Gmail, your Slack, your Salesforce, your calendars and you started automating real work. That was the validation we needed to keep building.

We're introducing three new capabilities that will allow you to do more with Venn.

NEW: Activity Logging 

One of the most common questions we heard from users: "What exactly is my AI doing?"

The new Activities page answers that. It gives you a complete, filterable log of every action (tool call) your AI assistants have made through Venn. You can see what was requested, what was executed, and what was allowed or blocked by your policy settings.

You can see:

• Which actions your AI assistants made 

• Which actions were allowed and executed

• Which actions were blocked by your policy settings

• When (date/time) actions were initiated across your apps 

This is not just a log for its own sake. It's how you build trust in AI automation. When you can see every action your AI takes, you can delegate more confidently and catch anything that needs your attention before it becomes a problem.

NEW: Multiple Accounts per App

Most people have more than one email address, more than one Slack workspace, more than one account for the same tool.

Multiple accounts per app lets you create multiple connections for the same service and name each one uniquely. So instead of choosing which Gmail account to connect, you connect all of them. "Gmail - Work," "Gmail - Personal," "Gmail - Side Project." Then you just tell your AI exactly which one to use.

"Hey Venn, check my Gmail - personal and let me know if anything needs a response."

This is a small change that makes Venn dramatically more useful for anyone managing multiple accounts, projects, or clients.

Pro tip: If you're a solopreneur or contractor, this lets you use Venn across all of the accounts across your clients. Huge productivity unlock.

NEW: API Key Access

For developers and power users building custom AI workflows, you can now generate a Venn API key and connect your own agents programmatically.

If you're building with tools like OpenClaw, custom Claude Code agents, or other automation setups, you can give those agents direct access to your connected apps without manual authentication. Just point your agent at Venn and let it work.

Who should use the Venn API Key?

- Developers building custom AI pipelines

- Teams running automated workflows that need to act on connected services

- Power users who want to connect Venn to tools not yet in the standard connector library

Introducing Venn Pro 

Given all of these updates, we're announcing the next chapter: Venn Pro.

Venn Pro is our first paid tier, built for people who want more connections, more control, and more visibility into what their AI is actually doing.

Here's what's included and the difference between Pro and Basic: 

API keys and Multiple account connections per app will be included in the Basic plan.

What's the difference between read and write actions?

• Read actions lets your AI retrieve information, like checking your inbox, looking up a contact, or reading a calendar event.

• Write actions lets your AI take action, like drafting an email reply, creating a task, adding a calendar event, or updating a record.

The Basic plan supports up to 5 app connections, including multiple account connections per app with read-only tools. Venn Pro removes those limits entirely. It's the difference between an AI that tells you what's in your inbox and one that drafts a reply for you.

Going forward, all new sign ups will receive a 7-day free trial with full access to Venn Pro, no credit card required. After the 7 day period, you can choose to upgrade to Pro or move to the Basic plan.
